Active DAS Hybrid: A Unique Distributed Antenna System Category
From Nextivity
The Making of Nextivity Smart Coverage Solutions
IntelliBoost® describes the collection of knowledge, technology, features, and functions that set Nextivity products apart from “dumb” repeaters. IntelliBoost is what makes Nextivity Active DAS Hybrid solutions, commonly referred to as repeaters or signal boosters, smart. Nextivity makes “smart” repeaters or “smart” off-air signal boosters because of IntelliBoost. IntelliBoost technology is incorporated in both our CEL-FI cellular and SHIELD public safely product offerings. In CEL-FI products, the technology is built into a chip, while SHIELD products get their smart features through software.
Active DAS Hybrid: A Unique Distributed Antenna System Category
From Nextivity
What is Active DAS Hybrid?
Active DAS Hybrid is a unique distributed antenna system (DAS) category that provides outstanding network coverage using active signal amplification components at an affordable cost. The lower cost is achieved by using a blend of category cabling and fiber to distribute off-air signals that do not require the same level of carrier support as legacy DAS systems. Cost savings are realized across the board – in hardware, cabling, install time, labor, and set-up / commissioning.
